I had to say goodbye...

Today I dropped off my poor VW Jetta (aka Black ) at the body shop. They say that "hopefully" it'll be ready by Friday but I sort of doubt it. The guy said it was really hard to get VW parts. I should know... My last car, a VW Golf, was in the body shop for 3 months, after I totaled it by crashing into a median wall at 70mph while dodging a damn wooden chair in the middle of the interstate. It sat there in the body shop for 3 months until they finally decided to total the car and give me a check for the car's value.

This time, it's only a few scratches and some minor dents that need to be repaired that were caused by my little parking lot incident recently.

So, I'm set up with a 2000 Chevy Cavalier rental car. First off, sorry to all you Cavalier owners but this car absolutely blows monkey vomit. Haha... The doors are freakin' huge it's insane. It's like opening a submarine hatch when I'm trying to get out.

It's not that bad, really. At least it's not a Metro. My grandaddy long-legs would never fit in that car!

There are probably a lot of Cavalier owners out there, that's why nobody comented anything about the submarine.

yep, i didn't get my license until 16. ahh.. *thinks back to those days* hehe... I had to drive my mom's ugly Toyota station wagon to school and then started driving my Dad's Chevy Lumina van which my friends dubbed "the enterprise". haha... the i purchased my first car which was a 1985 Honda Accord which I loved cause it had power everything, sunroof, and leather but since it was so old, it didn't last long. Then, I fell in love with Volkswagen.

Metros aren't bad unless you're tall. Hehe.

Christopher, does your Audi have the cool "switchblade" type key? My Jetta does and people love to play with it!!! My friend has an Audi and he has a key like that too.

Andy says:

hey Jonathan, ever find out what was happening with that virus? looks like your ip was spoofed and they were using yours as a front for the emails. it happend to us at work. eventually our isp shut us off because we were hogging bandwidth. but we fixed it. want me to look into this more?

April 23, 2002 07:48 PM
Jonathan says:

Andy, I really don't know what happened but whatever it was, has stopped... at least for now. The person who was receiving these emails was an older lady who didn't know much computers so she never really told me what was happening... She did hire some one who told her it was the nimda virus and that it was coming from my server, which is just about impossible. i'm thinking someone may have spoofed my ip but i have no way of knowing right now. who knows... heh
