Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I arrived back home to a frigid, depressing Nashville earlier today and I'm not a happy camper. I had a wonderful time in Naples, even though I had to be the youngest person there as the majority of the population of Naples are retired "snowbirds." I guess I really enjoyed the weather... It was in the 70s and sunny most days and I do believe I have a healthy sunburn going on. Nashville, on the other hand, was about 23 degrees and snowing when I arrived this morning. Ugh.

It was really funny to see how my Dad has embraced his retirement. He plays bocci on a regular basis, sings in a barbershop chorus, and collects golf balls on the nearby golf course at the same time everyday... It cracks me up, really. ;) Good for him, though...

My Dad and Stepmom recently got a new dog named Jasper, who is a Yorkie and loves to lick your face and nibble on your fingers.

I saw more than enough alligators, especially in Everglades City, where we visited yesterday. The above pic on the right was taken at a park and yes, that is a real alligator resting right by the parking lot. He seemed to be enjoying his nap so we didn't bother him.

I took a lot of s and will post some more soon.
