Iceland - The Future of Sound

I was watching Frontline/World on PBS tonight and they had a great segment on the music scene in Iceland. One of the bands they featured is called Apparat Organ Quartet, which is basically 4 guys who play spacey music on old organs. Pretty cool stuff.

There's a complimentary website which highlights all you need to know about Iceland's growing music scene.

That's sounds incredibly interesting and I'm glad they chose to cover it. It really is, though I've not noticed it too much until recently, an incredible thing going on over there and I'm thankful for all that island's given me like Mum, Sigur Ros, Bjork, etc.... I'll have to look into those organ fellows. Wish I could've seen that special...
