I hope you in the US had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. It was nice for me to be with my family and friends. My brother Matt surprised both me and my Mom when he out of the blue knocked on the door after driving from Virginia. He ships out with the Navy for 6 months in a couple of weeks so it was nice to be able to see him before he leaves.

My friend Colleen from California also came in this week and it's been very nice to spend time with her. We saw Bowling for Columbine last night which I encourage you all to see.

I think I'm coming down with something... have sore throat and just feel light headed.

I know this is old news, but what do you guys think of the new Godspeed You Black Emperor album? I don't feel it is as strong as their previous work, though I'm sure it will grow on me.

My redesign of this site is on hold at the moment as I haven't had time this week. Also, I'm in the process of redesigning a HUGE chunk of www.greenplastic.com whenever I find the time. I'm really happy with how things are turning out and hopefully you will too. There's a lot of pages on that site that haven't been updated in years!

oh man. ok... i've been spending some time designing a new site and i can't come up with anything worth showing. talk about designer's block. i have an idea what i want it look like, but i can't get it on the screen. my vision is to have this site be more visual... a place to show some of my digital doodles and of course, my photos. i've been fighting with the idea of making it a photoblog, which is ideal, but i'm not satisfied. i like how my photo galleries are now, but are a pain to update. i've been looking at some php galleries, but none really have what i'm looking for. does anyone have any ideas on how to make a great photo gallery?

so, instead of me staring at a blank photoshop screen, i've decided to reopen this "wood" site that was soooooo last september. heh.

it's going to be a great week.

i was exploring the constellation records site tonight and saw that they have a page detailing the process they take in making those cool hand-made cd and vinyl packages.
